Our 4th-grade students at Bellevue Children's Academy had an exciting opportunity this summer—they met with Ms. Laurie Ann Thompson, a local author known for her passion and dedication. Ms. Thompson, drawing from her background in engineering, conducted workshops on "How to Write," captivating our young writers with her expertise.

Throughout the sessions, Ms. Thompson guided students through the writing process, from brainstorming ideas to crafting and refining their work. Her diverse range of books, spanning science, technology, environmental issues, and biography, provided inspiration and insight into the world of literature.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Thompson for sharing her inspiring stories and invaluable lessons with our students. Her visit enriched our summer curriculum and left a lasting impact on budding writers at BCA.
