Summer Sports & STEAM Camp
At Bellevue Children’s Academy, learning continues long after dismissal. Students engage in extended learning programs, enrichment opportunities, and clubs, while staying active through a growing range of sports and wellness activities. From STEAM challenges and coding to chess, drama, visual arts, languages, and leadership, children explore new interests, build confidence, and connect with friends across grade levels. Our extended-day programs provide a safe, structured environment where every child can try something new, pursue their passions, and make the most of their time at BCA.
Bellevue Children’s Academy offers flexible before- and after-school care and Extended Learning programs for busy families, providing a safe and consistent routine for children in Preschool through 4th grade. Morning Care is available for Preschool and Pre-K students from 7:30am – 8:30am, giving children a calm start to the day with quiet activities and time to settle in. After school, families can choose Early (3pm – 4:30pm), Late (4:30pm – 6pm), or Plus (3pm – 6pm) programs. During all sessions, students enjoy a snack, recess, and a mix of STEAM activities, clubs, and homework or quiet time, all supervised by BCA’s caring staff. At our international school in Bellevue, drop-in care is also available for occasional use; please contact the front office to confirm availability.

Students express their ideas with color, line and texture as they draw, paint and create mixed-media projects. Children experiment with tools and materials, grow fine motor skills and feel proud to share their artwork.
Students stay active as they dribble, pass and shoot in friendly games. Children practice coordination, teamwork and fair play while learning the basics of basketball in a fun, encouraging setting.
Students exercise their brains as they learn how each piece moves and plan simple strategies. Children think ahead, practice patience and enjoy friendly matches that build focus, memory and confidence.
Students turn simple materials into something special as they learn basic sewing and fabric crafting. Children follow easy steps, practice patience and problem-solving, and leave with handmade pieces they are excited to show.
Students move to the music as they explore styles like ballet, Bollywood, hip hop and jazz. Children learn simple routines, practice rhythm and coordination, and discover the joy of performing with friends.
Students bring stories to life as they act out scenes, use their voices and explore different characters. Children practice speaking clearly, working as a cast and expressing emotions in a safe, playful space.
Students practice basic karate movements and simple routines in a safe, structured environment. Children learn to focus, follow instructions and show respect, while building strength, self-control and confidence in their growing abilities.
Students open their minds to new sounds and words as they explore Chinese or French. Children learn simple phrases through songs, games and stories, building early language skills and global curiosity.
LeadershipÂ
Students step into age-appropriate leadership by representing their classmates on the student council. Children share ideas to improve school life, help plan simple projects or events, and practise listening, speaking up respectfully, and working as a team. Along the way, students build confidence, responsibility, and pride in their school community.
Students tackle math as “number ninjas,” solving puzzles and games that build number sense and logic. Children practise counting, operations and patterns in a playful way that helps them see math as fun and approachable.
Students look closely at the world around them as they explore basic photography. Children notice light, shapes and details while capturing simple images of school life, nature and friends to tell visual stories.
Students dive into stories, exploring characters, settings and big ideas through guided reading and writing. Children retell tales, imagine new endings and build comprehension and vocabulary while growing a love of books.
Students move with ribbons, balls or hoops as they explore rhythm and graceful motion. Children learn simple routines that combine dance and gymnastics, building coordination, posture and confidence while expressing themselves through movement.
Students think like young scientists as they explore how things move, float and fly. Children ask questions, try simple experiments and learn to observe carefully, building curiosity about how the world works.
Students develop balance, coordination and teamwork as they dribble, pass and score together. Children learn soccer fundamentals, practise good sportsmanship and enjoy being active with friends outdoors.
SwimmingIn partnership with the Pro Club, students build confidence in the water as they learn basic strokes and water safety. Children practice skills at their own pace in a caring environment that helps them feel safe, strong and proud of their progress.
Students explore age-appropriate technology through playful projects like simple coding, Lego builds and story-based STEM challenges. Children practice problem-solving, sequencing and creativity while discovering how technology can help them design, create and share ideas.
Students slow down and stretch as they explore kid-friendly yoga poses and breathing exercises. Children learn to notice how their bodies feel, relax their minds and improve balance and flexibility through calm, playful movement.

In this brand new programme you will have the opportunity to watch your child grow their creative confidence as they dive into an enriching art framework exclusively designed by the ILOS team for students and teachers of ISP Artists. This framework will allow students to explore their creativity as they familiarise themselves with different techniques, mediums and themes. Additionally, students will participate in two live-streamed sessions facilitated by experts in the field who will support the students in developing their creative confidence.

ISP Changemakers, formerly known as ISP Futures, provides schools with tools and methodologies for developing projects focused on social impact. This will enable communities to take action to address strategic issues relevant to their group and their future.

Knowledge: Gain a better understanding of the different issues and opportunities that influence the well-being of the community.
Skills: Be able to apply different frameworks and methodologies to create projects with social impact. Raise awareness and take action on environmental issues among ISP staff, students, and school communities in general.

Being a part of this program has helped me in things I didn't imagine it would. Because of ISP, I haven't just learned about the environment and how to be more eco-friendly, but I have also earned new friends (..) It even motivated me to come to school doing this everyday (...) ISP Chess Masters
Programme highlights
ISP Chess Masters grows students’ skills and teamwork by connecting them with other ISP students to play fast chess in online and in-person tournaments in local, regional and global contexts.

I love chess and having the opportunity to get better at it through tournaments is simply amazing. You can share ideas about moves and your style of playing at the same time as playing, you can play with people you don't know and all of that with no material needed, just a computer.

ISP Cultural Exchange
ISP Cultural Exchange encourages reciprocal exchange across regions where ISP schools are located. The aim is to offer students the opportunity to experience a culture different from their own through a homestay and attending another ISP school for a month.

ISP Scientists
ISP Scientists provides a unique opportunity for students to become citizen scientists and contribute to real-world STEM research projects like mapping the journey of missing plastic waste or tracking their habits to measure their environmental impact.

ISP Filmmakers
ISP Filmmakers is a multi-disciplinary project in which students learn the importance of collaboration in achieving the common goal of producing a film, its trailer and poster. It provides insights into career pathways in film and media.

This programme really improves your understanding of filmmaking, planning, scenes shots and will really help you on your application later on for university. It also teaches you to work together on camera shots and editing that for sure will be needed in the future.

Our Enrichment Program offers Pre-K–4th grade students weekly opportunities to explore new skills, interests, and talents in a fun, supportive setting.
Taught by expert instructors and BCA educators, classes cover areas like art, science, engineering, athletics, and performing arts.
Registration processFamilies can preview course offerings before registration opens for each session. Early sign-up is encouraged as classes fill quickly.
MaterialsAll necessary materials for each class are included in the price. A snack is provided before each class to keep students energized and ready to learn.

Cost and feesEach course is priced $535 per session. Additional material fees may apply depending on the course, covering resources used during class activities.
Late Pick-up policyA late fee of $25 per 15-minute increment will be applied per child if they are picked up after the designated dismissal period. After 6:00 PM, a $60 fee is charged + $10 per additional 5 minutes.
