Summer Sports & STEAM Camp
At our international school in Bellevue, student safety comes first. Our staff, volunteers, and partners follow clear safeguarding standards so every child feels seen, protected, and able to speak up.
We work closely with families and local professionals to spot concerns early, respond quickly, and always act in each student’s best interests, with extra care for those who need additional support.

Working closely with students is the most rewarding part of my day. I am passionate about supporting their growth, helping them navigate challenges, and partnering with families and staff to ensure every child feels valued, confident, and successful. My goal is to help create a nurturing environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Students at Bellevue Children’s Academy are kept safe by a clear, comprehensive child protection and safeguarding policy that sets out specific procedures for identifying, reporting, and responding to any concerns.
Safeguarding training
All employees receive regular safeguarding and child protection training, so they can identify concerns early and follow clear procedures to keep students safe.
Safer recruitment
All staff working with students complete rigorous safer recruitment checks, including criminal background checks from every country where they have lived or worked in the last 10 years.
E-safety education
Students learn how to recognise online risks - such as cyberbullying, grooming, and inappropriate content - and how to protect their digital privacy and wellbeing.
Image and device protocols
Strict rules govern the use of mobile phones, cameras, and recordings on campus, with consent requirements and clear guidelines for how student images are captured, stored, and shared.
Secure record keeping
Any safeguarding concern is recorded promptly and stored separately in secure physical or electronic systems, accessible only to designated safeguarding staff.
Support for additional needs
Staff are trained to be especially vigilant in safeguarding students with special educational needs or disabilities, recognising additional barriers to communication and disclosure.
A week of exciting sports and hands-on STEAM activities where students stay active, build teamwork.
