Summer Sports & STEAM Camp
At Bellevue Children’s Academy, students experience a summer filled with exploration, creativity, and joyful learning.
Beginning in Pre-K and extending through Elementary School, campers engage in inquiry-based academic experiences, hands-on STEAM challenges, and creative projects inspired by weekly themes. Each activity is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and support meaningful, play-based learning.
Every day balances learning and fun, with opportunities to explore, collaborate, and connect with peers. In a warm, nurturing environment and small class settings, students build confidence, form lasting friendships, and create memorable summer experiences that support both academic growth and personal development.Â

Explore, learn, and grow at Bellevue Children’s Academy Summer Programs, where students from Pre‑K through 4th grade engage in hands-on learning, creative adventures, and inspiring weekly themes designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence.Â
Flexible summer programs
Choose what works for your family with weekly sessions from June to August, offering full- and half-day options across Bellevue’s Pre-K and Elementary campuses. Extended day options are available until 5:00 PM for working families.Â
Thematic weekly programs
Every week brings a new theme, from marine science and meteorology to arts & design, encouraging students to investigate, experiment, and learn through play, exploration, and collaborative projects.Â
STEAM & Sports Camps
Combine science, technology, engineering, arts, and math activities with fun sports challenges to keep students active, curious, and engaged all summer long.Â
Expert educators
Learn from Bellevue’s passionate teachers, trained in inquiry-based learning, who bring lessons to life through interactive instruction, hands-on projects, and guided exploration.Â
Safe and supportive environment
Small classes of 10–16 students ensure personalized attention and a nurturing atmosphere. Bellevue emphasizes social-emotional growth, leadership, and problem-solving skills alongside academic learning.Â
Family and community engagement
Special weekly events invite families to participate in presentations, art showcases, and themed celebrations, strengthening the connection between school, students, and community.Â

Pre-K – Grade 4Â
Get ready for a week of action-packed fun and hands-on learning at BCA’s Sports Fusion STEAM Camp! This unique enrichment experience blends high-energy sports and fitness activities with engaging STEAM projects.Â
Campers will stay active, spark creativity, strengthen teamwork, and build problem-solving skills - all while having a blast both on and off the court. Each day balances movement, learning, and creativity in a supportive and exciting environment at our top Elementary School in Washington State.Â

Grades Pre-K – 4Â
BCA Summer Adventure Academy offers a full summer experience with weekly themed programs designed to engage students academically, creatively, and socially. The program is open to both BCA and non-BCA students. Families can choose to enroll for individual weeks or for the full session. Classes are small (10–16 students) and led by our dedicated staff and teachers in a warm, nurturing environment. Advanced academics are integrated throughout the program via the IB Framework and inquiry-based learning. Additional offerings include enrichment clubs, school lunch options, and a Japanese Bilingual Program for Pre-K through 2nd grade. Each week also features special guests and family fun events.Â

Week 2
Our Extended Day Program runs Monday through Friday from 3:00–5:00 PM, offering families flexible enrollment options.Â
Each afternoon, students rotate through dynamic enrichment classes including Arts & Crafts, Performing Arts, Academic Workout, STEAM, and Sports. This diverse programming sparks curiosity, develops new competencies, broadens interests, and creates opportunities for students to form meaningful friendships across grade levels.
Students may bring lunch from home or purchase nutritious meals from BCA. School lunch orders include a main entrée, fresh fruits and vegetables, and a nutritious side, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available. More information about ordering school lunch will be emailed before Summer Adventure Academy begins.Â

Lunch fees are automatically withdrawn monthly through the ACH system, making payment convenient and hassle-free for busy families.Â

To ensure your child is prepared for creative projects and daily activities, please send the following supplies on the first day:Â
Uniforms are not required during summer, allowing students to dress comfortably for active learning. However, for safety reasons, open-toed shoes are not permitted.We encourage parents to apply sunscreen before school each day. If you send sunscreen with your child, a Sunscreen Waiver form must be completed, and your child will apply it under adult supervision before outdoor play.Â
